The Dead Rodeo is a psychedelic country band from Atlanta, Georgia, riding the dusty trail between outlaw grit and cosmic consciousness. Merging the storytelling traditions of classic country with the mind-bending sonic landscapes of 60s psychedelic rock, the band crafts a sound that is both familiar and transcendent. With a shared love for the raw honesty of Waylon Jennings and the improvisational spirit of the Grateful Dead, The Dead Rodeo delivers a live experience that is as much a roadhouse honky-tonk as it is a spiritual journey.

Formed in 2025, The Dead Rodeo consists of Brian McPherson on rhythm guitar, Donovan Carter on lead guitar, Rick Thomas on bass, Bill Grabbe on keys and Dave White on drums with everyone doing a lot of singing. The band was born out of a shared passion for genre-bending music, inspired by the late-night grooves of cosmic cowboys and the freewheeling jams of festival legends. Their sound is defined by powerful vocal harmonies, mind bending guitar solos, a rocking rhythm section as well as putting their own twist on songs from a multitude of genres.
